Long story long,  in case you’re not current on the stupidest post I’ve read, people -specifically thedailywhat - are bitching about the new viral Facebook meme. 

I am completely against you dailywhat and fuck you.  This piece-of-shit-waste-of-my-time article says that changing your profile picture to a cartoon is not an attempt to “raise awareness” but rather some facebook fad and is on par with posting statuses about drunken nights.  “Folks participating in this meme aren’t doing a thing to raise awareness for actions their friends can take to support this cause, just merely pointing out the fact that children are being abused while letting everyone know they once had a thing for Snarf. Beatification, ho!”

Now wait, isn’t that what “raising awareness” is all about?  Raising…awareness?  I have to admit if it weren’t for this facebook meme, the topic of abused children would have never caught my attention.  Now don’t judge me too quickly, I’m not one of those “facebook whores” - I barely post on facebook nowadays - but Facebook (for better or worse) is part of this generation no matter what way you spin it.  So I apologize for you (the writer of that dumbass blog) for not being a part of our younger generation and possessing a career where you sit on your ass blogging about useless shit about and on the internet. 

So okay, you proved a good point about providing actual means and mediums to support the cause for child abuse like providing links to organizations with information and faqs on how to help ( such as here ).  But instead of ragging on people on a social network such as facebook ( notice I put that in italics, trying to emphasize the stupidity in that ) you could have just commented - positively - that in addition to this “facebook meme” you can go a step further and provide mediums where one can take action in this cause.  But no you just wanted to be a pretentious douche fucker.  You just lost one follower; I was sick of your spam- of the day posts anyway.

I need to catch up on the TV show on AMC. I mean, it’s not like I don’t know what happens but still, it’s a pretty good adaptation of the comic and it’s cool to see it come to life. I wonder if issue 79 is out yet…

 Betty Brant did NOT play a small role in the comics.  Betty Brant was Parker’s first steady girlfriend, up to the point where he was about to tell her that he was Spider-Man but due to complications - her brother dying in a crossfire between Spider-Man and Doc Ock and Betty blaming Spider-Man for all that happened - he did not reveal his secret.  

Eventually the two split because of a wall had formed between them due to the burden of being Spider-Man, pushing Peter Parker and and Betty Brant apart.

But Emma Stone AND Zooey on the same screen!?  I hope so.

After a few mix ups, fuck ups and epiphany-ups,  I finally decided I’m gonna go to UC San Diego in the fall.  Maybe things do come full circle; UCSD was my VERY first choice EVER, in like 2008 senior year.
